Message from the President

The quarter continued the festivity of the previous one.

It started with the New Year celebrations followed by Annual Day, Womenbs Day and Holi.

But the Annual Day stood out amongst all celebrations/events. Elaborate preparations, trials and rehearsals started many weeks before . Motivated by  children's preparations, the teachers and parents too decided to give their respective group performances.

The Chief Guest, herself a specially abled person, joined the impromptu concluding dance, making the event very memorable.

Khushboo continues to keep children at the center of whatever it does. There is a constant endeavour to create opportunities for them to learn, get exposure and feel involved in meaningful activities. This quarter had many such activities which are covered in detail in this edition.

I pray to the Creator to guide us to find new ways to enrich the lives of the children under our care.

Apart from this, the EC continued to make concerted efforts to raise funds for the Residential Project with some small success.Funds sufficient for the boundary wall and caretaker residence came through and construction would be starting shortly. I earnestly hope well meaning individuals and organisations will come forward to support this cause.

With my best wishes,

Rakesh Jinsi
President
